An online directory to support social pages that spread correct, verified and socially useful news
Who said that only fake news circulates on social media ? Although they sometimes have less visibility, there are numerous pages that spread real, interesting and, in some cases, even socially useful news.
This is ‘good’ information that is shared on the most popular social platforms-from Facebook to Instagram-and which the Liqueedo Agency, part of the Tun2U Group, has decided to group together and publish in a free virtual library.
From art to philosophy, from science to photography, the Social Media Library thus aims to educate on the proper enjoyment of social media while supporting accounts that disseminate constructive and, of course, correct and verified content.
A participatory project through which particularly good pages can then be flagged for inclusion from time to time, thus succeeding in supplementing and expanding the online library.
In addition to the excellences of the news world-such as ‘Bbc,’ ‘CNN,’ and ‘Le Figaro’-more sectorial but still reliable pages have been included among the various sources. The Social Media Library, then, is a participatory online platform created with the aim of giving voice to social channels that spread valuable and verified news. It is then sufficient to select a category, choose pages to follow, and turn any newsfeed into a ‘no fake news’ and strictly ‘haters free’ space.
“In this extremely complicated period caused by the pandemic ,” explained Domenico Armatore, CEO of Liqueedo. all the dangers of misinformation online and, in particular, on social channels have emerged. For this reason, we strongly wanted this project created with the intention of giving space to social pages that can generate and disseminate valuable and reliable information. We think that Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter and other social media can be a healthy and valuable information space. We hope that Social Media Library will become a beacon to navigate among a thousand fake news and untrustworthy information subjects“.
