To always have the right diaper at the right time
Receive periodic gift packs of Pampers diapers from friends and relatives depending on your baby’s weeks or months. “Weeks of Love” is a new project by Fater — a 50-50 joint venture between Procter & Gamble and the Angelini family — created in collaboration with the Tun2U Group, which makes it possible to always have the right amount of diapers and, most importantly, the perfect size even as time goes by.
An idea, as Eros Durante, enterprise partnership manager of the Tun2U group, explained, as useful as it is innovative thanks to which “every mom can register on the Pampers portal and share the link to a page dedicated to her. From this very page, friends and relatives will be able to give her the diaper equivalent of Love Weeks.”
Once the design was defined and the UX and UI were developed, according to the usability logic and user perspectives, a management panel for the logistics service specifically designed for Weeks of Love was also created.
“Definitely the main innovation of this initiative,” Durante pointed out, “lies in the level of service offered. Moms can conveniently manage the growth stages of their babies directly from home – from a PC or mobile – selecting the most suitable size and scheduling shipments so they never run out of diapers. All this at no additional charge.”
In order to provide users with an intuitive and high-performance experience Tun2U decided to completely separate frontend and backend, thus developing a single page application in React, a JavaScript library for creating innovative and high-performance user interfaces.
“This means that users can purchase in a really streamlined and fast way, without being forced to go through long and tedious purchasing procedures,” the manager concluded.
