There is a lot of talk today about Green Economy and sustainable mobility. The electric pedal assisted bicycle (EPAC- Eletric pedal assisted cycle), also known as“Ebike,” is in fact considered a “sustainable” means of transportation, which uses the cyclist’s muscle power and the electricity of the batteries from which it is powered. In Italy we are beginning to see more and more people riding electric bikes, although in our country the Ebike is still in the “market introduction” stage, compared to more mature markets such as those in Northern Europe, where it is very popular.
A CHALLENGING AND INNOVATIVE PROJECT
Our company does not sell Ebikes, being a Digital Agency, but can facilitate the distribution and promotion of these green-oriented means of transportation, thanks to e-commerce and web marketing activities. In fact, in the last few weeks we have taken care of a difficult and challenging project, but thanks to the efforts of our team, it turned out to be a winner for our client. And also for us of course. We carried out the refactoring of the Prestashop platform of Bikeshopping, dedicated to the online sale of Ebikes and accessories, aimed at this fun outdoor sport. Among the various interventions made, we literally “covered” the old e-commerce by radically working on the template, to make it more dynamic and attractive, thanks also to videos and images with a strong visual impact. Certainly the UX is now markedly improved, because the new features (including the ability to write product reviews) make navigation engaging and smooth.
A COMPANY. A TEAM. AN AMBITIOUS IDEA.
Thanks to the new online store professionals, amateurs or people who want to learn about the world of Ebike, they will be able to find new and used bikes, accessories, technical clothing and relate to one of the most important companies in the Italian market. In fact, the extremely competent and professional Bikeshopping team has set itself an ambitious goal: to be the point of reference for Ebike in Italy. Certainly with the new e-commerce platform, this oh-so-ambitious goal is within the reach of the guys from Terni. But there is still pedaling to do!
