Bernabei Liquori is among Italy’s leading companies in wholesale and retail beverage distribution, which has an extensive network of wine shops and wine corners in franchising nationwide, offering one of the widest selections of wines and spirits for prompt delivery.

The company’s primary need was to be able to preside over the web through an e-commerce that could quickly establish itself in the online wine and beverage sales scenario.

Magento platform design and system integration

The project was born in 2014 and immediately started with reverse engineering of the old platform alongside a briefing of the company’s new needs to attack the B2C market. At the end of this phase, we started the process of studying front-end usability and designing the new platform by choosing Magento as the most suitable CMS for the company’s needs. The entire front-end interface was custom developed according to the requirements agreed with the client in terms of usability and aesthetics. In conjunction, our development department designed a connector that could adapt and communicate with the custom CRM adopted by the company for internal operations

At the same time as the development phase, we worked on the marketing concept starting with the main strengths of the Bernabei company. The result was an exceptional marketing mix that led the project in 2 years to be among the top e-commerce companies in Italy in terms of volume of revenue produced.
